Kitchen Table Rummy is a card game for playing Rummy 500 with family and friends. This policy explains what the app does with information. The short answer: we don't collect any ourselves. The free version shows ads provided by Google.
To play on separate devices, the app uses Apple's Game Center. When you start or join an online game, Game Center shares your Game Center nickname with the other players in that game, and stores the game itself (the cards, moves and scores) with Apple so everyone's device stays in sync. Game Center also sends the "your turn" notifications.
That data is handled by Apple under Apple's Privacy Policy. We don't operate a server and can't see your games, your nickname or your Apple Account.
Online games are invite-only: you only play with the family and friends you invite. There is no chat. Other players only see your Game Center nickname and your moves.
The free version shows a small banner on the home screen and a short full-screen ad after a game is finished. There are never ads while you're playing a hand. Ads are provided by Google AdMob, are set to the general-audience (G) content rating, and are non-personalized: the app never asks to track you, so Apple's advertising identifier isn't available to Google. To show and measure ads, Google's software may receive information such as your IP address (used for approximate location), device and app details, and whether you saw or tapped an ad. Google handles that data under Google's Privacy Policy and explains it at How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.
Where the law requires it (for example in the United Kingdom), the app asks for your ad consent the first time you open it. You can change that choice at any time in the app's Settings under Ads.
The Remove ads purchase turns off all ads for good. Purchases are handled by Apple, and we never see your payment details.
Your wins, losses, game history, head-to-head records, table color, rule preferences and any pass-and-play game in progress are saved in the app's storage on your device. They're never sent to us. Deleting the app deletes them.
The app is made for families and is fine for all ages. Because we collect no personal information from anyone, we collect none from children. Ads are limited to the general-audience (G) rating and are never personalized. Parents can manage Game Center, including multiplayer with strangers, in Settings → Screen Time → Content & Privacy Restrictions → Game Center.
If this changes, we'll update this page and the "Last updated" date before that version is released.
